Why BBA Approval Guarantees Standards for Home Insulation
What is the BBA?
The British Board of Agrément is an organisation partnered with the British Government and whose governing board includes representation on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
The BBA's agrément certificates have been providing authoritative and independent information on the performance of building products for over 35 years throughout the United Kingdom. Every agrément certificate contains important data on durability, installation and compliance with building regulations for home insulation, not just in England and Wales, but in Scotland and Northern Ireland, too.
How does the BBA carry out tests?
Assessment involves three distinct areas - laboratory testing (carried out wherever possible to UKAS requirements), site inspections (undertaken by the BBA's own inspection services team), and factory production control.
Since 1966, the BBA's test services staff have developed an unparalleled reputation and expertise in the testing of construction products and materials - either linked to agrément certificate assessments or as tests in their own right.
All tests are carried out in accordance with EN 45001, with a wide range of tests is accredited by UKAS.
What Does This Mean to You?
You can rest assured that the Warmroof Rigid Foam System has been tested to the very highest standards and complies with all the relevant legislation for home insulation.
